Legal Policies

1. About this agreement

This agreement is between you (the "client") and Mantraminds Behavioural Health Centre, a unit of Venture7 Technology Private Limited, a company registered in India (CIN [CIN], GSTIN [GSTIN]) with its registered office at E-303, LGF, Greater Kailash II, New Delhi 110048, India ("Mantraminds", "we", "us").

It applies to online well-being counselling for clients living in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. You accept it when you tick the box at booking. Please read it carefully. If anything is unclear, write to contact@mantraminds.com before you book.

Our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy form part of this agreement.

2. What our service is — and isn't

2.1 What we offer. Mantraminds provides non-clinical well-being counselling for adults. That means a confidential space, delivered online, to talk through everyday challenges such as stress, relationships, parenting, work, study, life changes and uncomplicated grief, and to build practical coping strategies.

2.2 What we don't offer. Our well-being counselling: - is not therapy or psychotherapy, and does not diagnose, assess or treat any mental health condition; - does not include psychiatry, prescribing or medication advice, or psychological testing or assessment; - is not a crisis or emergency service. We can't send emergency help to you, and we don't monitor messages or emails outside session times; - is not a substitute for care from your doctor or other health professionals.

2.3 If you are in crisis. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or you're in danger, contact your local emergency services straight away. That's 999 (UK), 995 (Singapore), 000 (Australia) or 111 (New Zealand). You can also use the crisis lines listed on your country page.

2.4 No guaranteed outcome. Counselling can help a great deal, but we can't promise any particular result.

3. Who can use the service

You can use the service only if: - you are 18 or older; - you live in the UK, Singapore, Australia or New Zealand, and you are physically in one of those countries at the time of each session. If you'll be travelling elsewhere, tell us before the session and we'll check whether we can go ahead; and - you have completed our intake screening and been offered a booking.

We may ask you to confirm your age or location at any time. If you are not eligible, we will stop the service and refund any unused prepaid sessions.

4. Our counsellors

4.1 Qualifications. Our Well-being Counsellors are based in India and hold postgraduate qualifications in psychology. Some are registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India. Each counsellor's degree, experience and languages are shown on their profile. Counsellors receive clinical supervision within Mantraminds.

4.2 Not registered in your country. Our counsellors are not registered with any health regulator in your country. That includes: - UK: the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC); - Australia: the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the Psychology Board of Australia; - New Zealand: the New Zealand Psychologists Board or the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand (PBANZ); - Singapore: the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).

4.3 Titles. Our counsellors are called "Well-being Counsellors". They do not use, and you should not expect, protected titles such as "psychologist", "clinical psychologist", "counselling psychologist" or "psychotherapist" in connection with this service.

5. Screening, re-screening and referral

5.1 Why we screen. Before booking, you complete a short intake that includes widely used well-being questionnaires. They help us check that our service is right for you. They are not a diagnosis. Depending on your answers we may: - offer you a booking; - invite you to a free introductory call first; - ask a senior Mantraminds clinician to review your answers before any booking. We aim to reply within [response timeframe]; or - recommend local services that can offer clinical care, instead of booking with us.

5.2 Re-screening. We'll ask you to complete the questionnaires again before your first session, every 4th session, and whenever your counsellor has a concern.

5.3 Referral. If at any point your counsellor feels your needs go beyond non-clinical well-being counselling, they will tell you honestly and kindly, and help you find suitable local support (for example your GP or a local service). We may pause or end the service in that case. You'll receive a refund for any unused prepaid sessions (see the Cancellation & Refund Policy).

5.4 Telling us about changes. Please tell us if your circumstances change. That includes starting treatment for a mental health condition, a new diagnosis, or new thoughts of self-harm.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to: 1. give accurate and complete information at intake and during sessions; 2. confirm where you are at the start of every session. Your counsellor will ask for your current location; 3. give us, at your first session, your current address and the name and phone number of an emergency contact we may call if we believe you are at serious risk (see section 7.2); 4. join from a private, quiet space where you can't be overheard, and not take sessions while driving or under the influence of alcohol or drugs; 5. use a reliable internet connection and a device you control; 6. treat your counsellor with respect. We may end a session if there is abusive or threatening behaviour; 7. pay fees on time and follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Confidentiality and its limits

7.1 Our promise. What you share in counselling is confidential. Only your counsellor and, where needed for supervision, quality or safety, a small number of Mantraminds clinical staff will see it. They are all bound by confidentiality. We do not share it with your family, employer or anyone else without your consent.

7.2 When we may share information without your consent. We may share the minimum information necessary, with the right people (for example your emergency contact, local emergency services or a relevant authority), when: - we believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or to another person; - we learn of a risk to a child or a vulnerable adult (safeguarding); - we are required by law, or by a court or regulator, in India or in your country.

Where it is safe and practical, we'll talk to you first.

7.3 Supervision. Counsellors discuss their work in clinical supervision within Mantraminds, using as little identifying information as possible.

8. Session records

Your counsellor keeps brief written notes of each session, along with your intake answers, questionnaire results and consents. These are kept securely, stored and accessed in India, retained for [records retention] years, and handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask for a copy of your records, subject to the law.

9. Fees and payment

• Fees are shown in your local currency on your country page and at booking. See the Fees section of your country page.
• Sessions last 50 minutes. The first step is a free 15-minute intro call.
• Payment is taken at booking through our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
• Our fees are paid by you directly. Government rebates (for example Medicare in Australia) and health insurance do not apply.
• The introductory call is free.
• [Taxes: placeholder for any GST/VAT/consumption tax statement after tax review.]

10. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains rescheduling, cancellations, no-shows and refunds.

11. Individual sessions only

During this first phase we offer individual sessions only. You're welcome to talk about your relationship in your own sessions.

12. No recordings

Neither you nor your counsellor may record any session (audio, video, screenshots or transcripts) without the written consent of everyone taking part. We do not record sessions. If we ever wished to, we would ask first, and you could say no without it affecting your care.

13. Technology

Sessions take place by secure video through a third-party platform. No online service is completely risk-free. Connections can drop, and data can be intercepted or accessed without authorisation, despite reasonable security measures. You can reduce the risks by using a private network and keeping your device secure. If a session is disrupted by a problem on our side, we'll reschedule or refund it (see the Cancellation & Refund Policy).

14. Ending the service

• You can stop at any time by telling us at care@mantraminds.com. Unused prepaid sessions are refunded as set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• We may end or pause the service if: it's no longer suitable or safe for you (we'll refer you on); you're no longer eligible; you seriously or repeatedly break this agreement; or there is abusive behaviour. Where appropriate, we'll explain why and suggest other support.
• Sections 7, 8, 15, 17 and 18 continue after the service ends.

15. Our liability

15.1 What we're responsible for. We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, as the law requires.

15.2 What we don't exclude. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. That includes liability for: - death or personal injury caused by our negligence; - fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; - your rights under consumer law in your country (see section 17), including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, and your statutory rights in the UK and Singapore.

15.3 Limits, where the law allows. Subject to 15.2: - we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses (the service is for personal use); - we are not responsible for harm arising from information you withheld or gave inaccurately, from failure to seek emergency help when needed, or from problems with your own equipment or connection; - our total liability to you for anything else is limited to [liability cap — e.g. the total fees you paid us in the [X] months before the claim].

Where the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act allows us to limit our liability for a failure to meet a guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

16. Complaints

We want to hear if something isn't right. Please write to contact@mantraminds.com. We'll acknowledge your complaint, look into it and reply in writing. If you're not satisfied, you can ask for a review by our founder, and you can also contact the consumer or complaints body in your own country.

17. Governing law and your consumer rights

17.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of India.

17.2 Your local consumer protections still apply. If you are a consumer living in the UK, Singapore, Australia or New Zealand, choosing Indian law does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country. Nothing in this agreement limits the rights those laws give you.

17.3 Where disputes are heard. The courts of New Delhi, India have non-exclusive jurisdiction. You may also bring proceedings, or use consumer and complaints bodies, in your own country where its law allows.

18. General

• Changes to these terms. We may update this agreement, for example to reflect changes in law or in our service. We'll give you at least [notice period] notice by email of any change that affects you. Changes will not apply to sessions you have already paid for unless the law requires it. If you don't agree, you may stop and receive a refund of unused prepaid sessions.
• Transfer. We may transfer this agreement to another organisation that takes over our service, provided your rights are not reduced. We'll tell you if this happens.
• Severability. If any part of this agreement is found invalid, the rest stays in force.
• Whole agreement. This agreement and the policies listed in section 1 are the whole agreement between us about the service.
• Language. This agreement is in English. If it is translated, the English version prevails, to the extent the law allows.
